Duvet day

I am working on typing today since I have declared today a write off before I even got up so today I am sitting in front of a computer screen working on my projects. November has been a huge month for me. I decided to go in for NaNoWriMo a competition that challenges you to write 50,000 words in 30 days. With my car off the road and very little cash in my pocket I wasn't looking at going to far anyway to I played with some story's and came up with a mash up to two genres going for Steampunk for the first time but I also loved the idea of film noir style story and so went for steam-noir. Due to my locked in state I was quickly finished I managed 50,000 words in 16 days and was pumped soon I was taking on new ideas and when I was finished with a moment of madness I had five other projects items such as this blog, another mash up using post appocolyptic  romance, a small piece for another project some scripts also the ever present second book for my publisher soon I figured in one month where 300,000 people are glad to just do 50,000 words I was looking at writing 100,000 and in a perverse way I have been enjoying it. But I have been slipping lately and people have started asking g for items I was meant to be finish with. So when I woke up after having half the night awake with back pains I decided to write off today and catch up with work. And yes rambling on this blog is classed as work.
